Carbon credit & I-REC marketplace · Thailand & ASEAN

Buy and sell verified carbon credits and I-RECs with project-level transparency.

GaiaSwap is a marketplace for T-VER carbon credits and I-REC(E) renewable energy certificates. Every asset is traced back to its registered project, devices, and issuance proof — so you know what you bought.

What's in MVP1

Three core surfaces. Built for buyers and sellers who want to act today.

MVP1 is intentionally narrow. We are shipping the screens that matter for a single transaction — find liquidity, verify the source, settle, and track holdings. Everything else is on the roadmap.

01 · HOME

Liquidity view

See available buy and sell liquidity grouped by asset type, generation source, vintage, and price range. Trade as a chunk — pick a slice of the market and execute against it in one action.

  • Filter by asset type, source, vintage, price range
  • Drill down into the underlying projects and devices
  • Buy or sell against a chunk of liquidity at once
02 · MARKET

Browse every verified asset

A single sortable table of every verified asset on the platform. Sort by registry, country, vintage, quantity, or price. Filter the same way as Home, plus advanced flags for verification status.

  • Sortable table view across all listings
  • View by sell order or open buy order
  • Project pages with technical verification and devices
03 · PORTFOLIO

Holdings & settlement

Total portfolio value, holdings split by unit (MWh and tCO₂e), available funds, and every open or completed order in one place. Deposit funds by bank transfer or move existing I-REC(E) in from Evident.

  • Holdings table with per-row sell action
  • Order history across sessions
  • Bank deposit and Evident-side I-REC(E) transfer
Project-level transparency

Every asset is traceable to its source project.

Open any project — say Solar Energy Project #402 — and you see exactly that project's available supply, its registered devices, its issuance proof, and an order book scoped to that project only.

Place an order on the project page and you are buying from that project's inventory — not from an aggregated pool. Helpful when your buyer mandate names a specific source, or when you want certainty about country of generation.

At launch

Two asset types. Both verifiable end-to-end.

We are starting narrow on purpose. T-VER and I-REC(E) cover the two most common use cases for Thai-domestic and ASEAN-regional buyers in the corporate market today.

Carbon credit

T-VER

Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction. Issued under TGO (Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation), Thailand's national carbon authority. Domestic credit type for voluntary offsets.

Renewable energy

I-REC(E)

International Renewable Energy Certificate, issued under the Evident standard. The international REC standard used by corporate buyers tracking renewable electricity claims across ASEAN.
